To develop, empower, and protect the welfare of theater advocates and cultural movers in the state.
To plan, coordinate, and defend the rights and interests of the theater community in Selangor.
To offer moral and material support, and to create opportunities that contribute to the advancement of theater.
To implement strategic efforts aimed at strengthening MTS’s financial standing through support from government bodies, private sectors, individuals, and lawful internal initiatives.
To uphold, safeguard, and stage Bangsawan—the traditional Malay opera—as a cultural emblem of performing arts in Selangor.
Coordinate cultural and performing arts programs and events with fellow arts and culture partners, including the District Culture Council (MKD) and City Councils.
Organize theater performances with the support of all Affiliate Members and State Theater Activists across various genres and themes for public viewing in Selangor.
Ensure educational sessions such as acting classes and theater forums are held to add value for activists in elevating the prestige of Selangor's theater scene.
Provide qualified jury and evaluation panels to judge any performance-related competitions at the school, university, or corporate level.
Provide qualified instructors for workshops, training sessions, or courses related to arts and culture.
Provide emergency assistance to Affiliate Members in need, AND also award members for their outstanding contributions in promoting the art of theater.
